Lesson 11: Pitch, Price and Close
Lesson 11: Pitch, Price and Close
Up to this point, you’ve built a real foundation.
You understand:
• what brands actually buy
• how the market works
• how to analyze ads
• how to film and edit content
• how to structure scripts and hooks
• how to build a proof stack
Now we move to the point where everything turns into income: turning your skill into paid collaborations
Most creators never fully cross this stage. Not because they lack skill. But because they don’t understand how to sell their value.
Where Money Actually Starts
.
How You Should See Yourself
Beginners think: “How do I message brands?”
Professionals think differently.
“How do I position myself so the brand sees me as a solution?”
That shift matters. Because you’re not asking for work. You’re offering value and brands don’t respond to effort. They respond to usefulness.
What a Strong Pitch Looks Like
Weak messages sound like this:
“I’d love to collaborate”
“I love your brand”
They don’t say anything useful.
Strong positioning follows a simple logic:
• you understand the brand
• you see an opportunity
• you offer a solution
Example:
This doesn’t feel like a request. It feels like value.
Pricing Is About Positioning
There is no “correct price”. There is only how you present it.
At the beginning, ranges are simple:
• $100–$200 → early stage
• $200–$400 → more confident level
But the difference is not skill. It’s communication.
Instead of saying: “My price is $150”
Say: “For this type of content, I usually work within the $200–$300 range depending on scope and usage.”
This shows confidence without being rigid.
How to Increase Deal Size Instantly
How Deals Actually Get Closed
This is where most people lose money. After a brand replies, beginners become passive. Professionals take control. Instead of just agreeing, you guide the process.
Example:
“Sounds great - happy to work on this.
To make sure I deliver exactly what you need:
• where will the content be used?
• do you need raw footage or final edits?
Once I have this, I’ll confirm timeline and pricing.”
You’re not waiting.
You’re leading.
And this matters in real situations.
If they say “we’ll think about it” - you follow up calmly.
If they say “no budget” - you stay valuable, not desperate.
If they don’t reply - you follow up again.
Most creators stop here. That’s why they don’t get paid.
